December 15, 2007
It is with great sadness that we
announce that we have laid to rest a truly magnificent horse, TC. TC
developed colic December 14 and despite an overnight vigil to keep him
up and walking a tough decision was made in the early hours on December
15 to let him rest in peace.

TC was a Shire Thoroughbred mix
and was the largest horse at
Bear Creek Stables.
His size was intimidating to many people, but as is true with a
Shire, he was a gentle giant. Those who were fortunate to ride
TC, fell in love with him. |

TC leaves behind his son,
Caleb. These two would often tag-team with each other to keep
other pesky horses away. If Caleb was being harassed, TC would
come to the rescue. Caleb was always there to return the favor. |

TC was the ideal
trail horse as nothing appeared to spook him. The term "Bomb
Proof" absolutely applied to TC. In all likelihood, if a bomb
went off close to TC he would have thought, "Yeah, so what!" |

TC, we will miss you! |
